Detailed Itinerary
Arrive Suvarnabhumi International Airport, Bangkok at by morning.
Freshen up and proceed towards Wat Pho a Buddhist Temple Complex.
The temple is first on the list of six temples in Thailand classed as the highest grade of the first-class royal temples.
Post lunch Check-in to hostel Next head towards The Grand Palace– then official residence of Kings of Siam of Chakri Dynasty.
Sink in the grandness of this place and sketch down the minute carvings.
Also, visit Wat Phra Kaew the most sacred Buddhist Temple of Thailand.
The main temple of the Emerald Buddha is very elegantly decorated and similar to the temple in ancient capital of Ayudhya- in the Rattanakosin Style of Architecture.
Dinner and Overnight
Post B/F proceed towards Golden Buddha Temple.
Recently discovered in 1955 the Gold Buddha Statue (dating 200 years and old) was covered with stucco and while shifting the ropes broke and the statue fell, revealing the real statue.
Later visit Wat Arun Ratchavararam– the temple derives its name from the Hindu god Aruna, often personified as the radiations of the rising sun.
The main feature of Wat Arun is its central prang (Khmer-style tower) which is encrusted with colourful porcelain.
Next visit Indra Square one of the best local shopping complex.
Post B/F proceed towards the tallest building of Thailand.
Visit this marvelous building and get awed by its structure.
Then visit the observatory on top to get a panoramic view of the city and complete the drawing.
OR Post B/F visit University-Faculty of Architecture for a campus tour and an interactive session with the faculties.
Post lunch visit the famous Chatuchak weekend market to understand how an urban market place has been developed.
Dinner and overnight
Post B/F visit Jim Thompson House, a museum housing the art collection of American businessman and architect Jim Thompson.
The house is a marvelous structure sure to pinch the architectural mind.
After lunch, time at leisure. Evening sail onto Chao Phraya River Cruise to experience the skyline of Bangkok.
Dinner on cruise & Overnight stay.
Post B/F check out and transfer to Suvarnabhumi International Airport, Bangkok to board flight back home.
